We see this a lot. You get an invoice from Domain Name Services. It looks real and has an American flag icon on it so it must be legit, right? Wrong. It’s just a scam. They charge you hundreds of dollars and you get nothing for it. Even worse, you might think you have paid the bill and the real domain hosting doesn’t get paid.
Be sure to check with your website admin to make sure you are paying the correct domain registrar. Chances are… it’s not
